Sofia Fanarioti was born in 1986, in the island of Corfu. In 2009 she received an Informatics Degree from the Department of Applied Informatics and Multimedia of the School of Technological Applications of the Technical University of Crete. In 2014 she received her M.Sc. Degree in Informatics from the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University. She is a member of the Networks, Multimedia and Systems Security Lab (NMSLab), taking active part in research, education, outreach programs and project implementation. She has participated in a variety of funded R&D projects and attended a wide range of conferences. Her research interests include: Virtual and Hybrid environments, 3D Rendering, Image Editing and Enhancement for Virtual Models.
