Ioannis Deligiannis
Associate Professor, Department of Audio and Visual Arts, Ionian University

Dr. Deligiannis is a graduate of the Computer Science Department of the University of Wales, where he also completed his Ph.D. on “Interactive Multimedia for Science and Rheology”. His field is Analog and Digital Technologies of Interactive Multimedia. His research interests are Interactive Multimedia, Dynamic Changing Systems, Interaction and Audiovisual Arts, Adjustable /Experimental Multimedia, Audiovisual Arts, Interactive Audiovisual Installations,  New forms of Creation and Interaction, Educative Multimedia Systems, Containment Interconnection, Data Visualization, Social Software and Interactive Multimedia Technologies. His academic experience includes not only the Department of Audio and Visual Arts but also the Informatics Department of both the Ionian University and the University of Wales, as well as Greece’s National Center for Public Administration and Local Government.

Roles in the program:

  • Research program manager
  • Scientific Coordinator of the Gamification C:Hub
  • Coordinator of research on original integrated augmented and virtual reality and hologram systems
  • Co-writer of papers and presentations, in collaboration with other members of the research team.
