Konstantinos Tiligadis
Professor, Department of Audio and Visual Arts, Ionian University

Mr. Tiligadis has studied Painting and Set Design at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Having received a scholarship through the State Scholarships Foundation (ΙΚΥ), he also attended workshops in painting, kinetic sculpture and photography at the Seville Arts Academy. His visual work is based on research pertaining to Art and Technology as a means for interactive Storytelling, for expressing Aesthetic and Philosophical ideas and for developing technological, digital-based media and tools. His field of expertise is Painting, specializing in three-dimensional Digital Representation (3D Animation). He is the Deputy Head of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts, Director of the Graduate Programme "Audiovisual Arts in the Digital Age", and the Director of the Postgraduate Programme “Audiovisual Arts in the Digital Age” of said Department.

Roles and Responsibilities in HAL:

  • Head of the Animation C:Hub.
  • Content conception and development in the fields of animation and 3D design, with relation to visual and applied arts.
  • Co-writer of papers and conference presentations in collaboration with other members of the research team.
