Vasilios Agiomyrgianakis is a postdoctoral researcher at the Ionian University. He holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Music Humanities and Media of the University of Huddersfield. His research imperatives run along the threads of transmediation, intersemiotic translation, post–disciplinarity, and the general concerns of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Along with his academic research he is active as a music composer and audiovisual artist (photography, video and sound artist).
